With this door monitoring signalling unit it is possible to monitor doors on escape routes e.g. with a reed sensor. These units are primarily used with escape route doors which do not need to be fitted with a secondary lock, a conventional escape route locking. Since only one sensor has to be installed on the door, this does not effect the escape function of the door. Thus these products offer a cost-effective alternative to conventional, certified escape door systems.
