This electromechanical security mortise lock is a self-locking escape route lock with split follower and controllable outside handle. DIN EN 179 escape route standard.

Self locking is triggered by an auxiliary control latch when closing the door, when it is pushed automatic deadlocking occurs. The function of the control latch is connected to the position of the latch bolt so that the locking mechanism is engaged only when both latches are operated. Avoiding accidental and manipulative locking can thus be avoided.

Control is always done by DC. The lock is available in both 12 or 24V versions. The coil is capable of continuous duty (100%).
