The EA280 lead cover was designed to ensure you can securely lead the cable from the frame into the leaf. The maximum diameter of the cable is 7.5 mm. A multi-core cable is advised to be used because of the bigger rupture resistance.
Single-casing version.

You should choose this lead cover if the door opening angle is smaller than 120° or the distance between the hinges and the door frame is not bigger than 20 mm. If the angle and the distance are bigger, choose model EA281.

Abloy lead covers are usually built into the door leaf, but if there is not enough room for this, they can be mounted in the frame too. Before installation, the cable has to be led through the door. The hole for the cable has to be big enough to allow slight movements of the cable.
