Electric motor mortise security locks are excellent for use in commercial premises. They provide greater security due to the self-locking system, can be unlocked in emergencies by using the panic function and offer greater convenience due to their electric controls.

They can be combined with swing doors, or fitted in fire protection doors or in doors in accordance with the regulations of the DIN EN 1125 and DIN EN 179 standards.
When motorized locks are used, there is no need to operate the door unlocking system manually from the outside. Alternate (knob-handle) fittings are used for motor locks (knob on the outside and a handle on the inside), the locks have a continuous follower.

Thanks to the bulit-in monitoring contacts the lock status can be monitored. Contacts: bolt out / bolt in; control latch; handle control; sabotage lever; cylinder.
These locks operate according to the fail locked principle so the stay locked in the case of a blackout. At this time the doors are only openable by the cylinder or by handle from the inside.
