This security lock with handle control 709X is used especially in situations where the advantages of handle-controlled unlocking have to be combined with the mechanical security level of the lock models 309X and 409X and panic function is not needed. Thanks to the bulit-in monitoring contacts the status of the lock is provided.

Full-leaf models with 80 mm backset for full-leaf wooden and metal doors.
These locks feature a continuous follower.
The lock can be actuated by a card reader, code lock, timer switch, keypad, etc.

When the door is closed, the control latch together with the cross control ensures that the pre-tensioned bolt is fully extended and the double action latch is blocked which improves the level of security obtained.

Fail-locked and fail-unlocked operation can be altered on the lock as required.
